diy guitar repair?

i just noticed i chipped a little bit of the lacquer off of my yamaha guitar revealling the wood…..is there a diy way to fix it or is it off to the guitar store for me?

You may be able to find a stain to match,them put lacquer on. Or do like Willy Nelson & let it go ,put a hole there & change the sound.

Apply lacquer.

It's got character now, just slap a big sticker over it
