DIY in Canada?
Is their a DIY movement in Canada? If there is in what part or city would you find a a larger DIY community? Also what is the most metropolitain city in Canada?

At the bottom of the main screen and your Q screen are flags, one being Quebec. I assume your access through yahoo can be defined, but Q&A is global, and obviously you've asked a Q, and I'm reading and answering from FL, USA. I have no need to research it, but I have to assume Yahoo Answers Canada exists.
The DIY sense and attitude is very likely also global, and relates to anyone wanting to do, or trying to do, for themselves as opposed to paying another. Certainly that doesn't always work, but we all, even the most experienced, had to begin learning at some point. I, for example, was not born with a hammer in my hand. (No offense)
I can't answer to the last Q, but gads there must be hundreds. Montreal and Toronto come to mind immediately, and I've been in Vancouver and Edmonton as well, and all seem about as METRO as I'd ever want.
