it only works with …
it only works with two sided paper, which gives you 8 pages. it’s conventional to use 2 of those for the cover.
if you’re using one-sided paper, you might save a few pennies, but you only get 4 pages. most places won’t sell you one-sided paper anymore anyway.

Well, you dont really need to know the layout (front, back, page 1, 2, 3 etc) it just is “there” once you finish the book.
also ,he does label them after he goes “a little crazy”

You can see the layout. Tops of the panels toward the center of the page. Then the fold becomes the top… though I suppose you can do it the other way, and then the fold becomes the bottom.
