Stove problem with tiling hob

Stove problem with tiling help needed I changed a cooker hob and now theres a gaping hole, how to fix? I am hoing to patch it but no idea how

I would bridge it …
I would bridge it from undeneath by fixing steel plates at the sides of the hob into the underside of the top, It looks just thick enough to anchor some small bolts in. Then fill with cement and tile finish.
